WHAT DO WE BELIEVE? 

The Lord himself taught that true freedom in Christ depended on knowing the truth John 8 v. 32.  He also indicated the importance of the truth in the field of Christian growth John 17 v. 17.  So both at the start of our Christian lives and throughout them the truth is indispensable.

Tragically, we are living in days of decline and departure from the truth of God's Word. It is therefore of utmost importance that a publisher separate from error by making it clear where they stand doctrinally. Know the Truth Publications seeks to maintain the faith once and for all delivered to the saints by the Lord and his apostles. We also recognise that we need to explain what we mean by Biblical terminology such as "Christian doctrine" and "sound doctrine". The fact that so many, who differ with us even on the non-negotiable truths of the Christian faith, lay claim to these terms means that we must state our position very clearly.

Consequently, we state our position that the faith of our Lord and his apostles has been retained in its purity by godly men of previous generations such as  Augustine of Hippo, the reformers Luther & Calvin, right down to the modern times in preachers like C.H Spurgeon, George Whitfield, John Bunyan, Dr Martyn Lloyd Jones.  And in the present day preachers like Dr. Joel Beeke, Pastor Geoffrey Thomas,  Dr. J I Packer, Dr Ian Murray and others.   "Know the Truth Publications" therefore maintains and promotes the doctrines of grace and finds its doctrinal position most accurately represented by the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Baptist Confession of Faith 1689.

Our primary objective therefore is to dispense only such materials that maintain and promote the faith of our Lord, so defined, at affordable prices, to Christian workers and pastors.  These include books, magazines, electronic media,  conferences and training.
